‘Thank you for our super kitchen. It really works for us and I enjoy working the in the space you created for us’
Having agreed to buy a house in one of North Yorkshire’s most sought after villages, our clients were determined to make it the house of their dreams. They had fallen in love with the plot and aspect of the house, and felt sure that with a few tweaks, they could redesign the enviable large interior to work for themselves and their young family.
The kitchen was high on their list of priorities, and they wanted to make the most of the incredible views from the rear of the property. They loved the existing Jeremy Wood kitchen, however as they were a young family, they wanted to incorporate the dining room into the kitchen, and create a more open plan versatile room which worked for both everyday life and entertaining, along with a more contemporary feel.
As they were working closely with an architect, they were able to give us copies of the revised layout they intended to use.
Our Jeremy Wood ‘Shaker’ style was chosen for the cabinetry, along with the chrome cup and knob combination to give the room a classic contemporary feel.
A striking paint colour was chosen for the large island, which blended beautifully with the more subdued colour on the main units, and in conjunction with the unique quartzite worksurfaces, paved the way for a breathtaking result.
