Our clients had lived in their home for a number of years, and the property had worked well for them. However, as their children were growing up, they felt that they needed to create some much needed extra space, and our clients were keen to update their kitchen. The property lacked a working utility area, and a second sitting room for their teenage children to escape to.
Working alongside their architect, Jeremy came up with a scheme which involved creating a cinema room/utility in their basement, which would allow our clients to make the best use of the space available.
By creating a utility area in the basement, it meant that there was a lot more available space in the kitchen area for all things kitchen related.
Grey quartzite worksurfaces were chosen for their kitchen, as well as for a bespoke table top on our visit to F Jones,. From here we were able to assist with colour choices for the rest of the room.
